Optimum Medical is a growing business and has undergone substantial changes in the last few years due to covid, new sales channels and the introduction of a new ERP system (NetSuite). We are now looking for a part qualified CIMA Management Accountant to join our Finance team. The main priorities for the Management Accountant will be the preparation of management accounts, including review and explanations of all postings made in the ledgers.  

The Management Accountant main responsibilities will be.

  • Liaise across the Finance team including AP and AR
  • Ability to understand and explain transactional postings
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Management Accounts including preparation, review against budget/forecast and variance analysis
  • Fixed asset register - additions, disposals, and depreciation
  • Preparation of management information
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Ad-hoc support across the Finance team and the wider business

We are looking for a Management Accountant who is CIMA full/part qualified, a minimum of 3 years stock-based business accounting, preparation of management accounts and multi-currency/Global trading would be an advantage. Above all, we are looking for a friendly, adaptable and driven individual.
